I am a user experience enthusiast based in Canberra. I've worked in several large government departments over more than 15 years as an interaction designer, UCD analyst, web manager, & business analyst. I also find time to have a Life, be a parent of teenagers & enjoy a wonderful long-term relationship. Caring passionately about improving the experience for users of computer systems motivates me to be persistent and patient in championing their needs when the pressures of a project impose competing priorities, and to enthusiastically communicate and engage with a broad range of stakeholders. My objective is to think strategically and conceptually at the same time as doing practical, tactical work that produces tangible results for users.
